Positive Motions Concert Series November 20, 2011 concert program will include a mix of ultra contemporary string music by young members of LACC composers club (continuing the legacy of LACC graduate John Williams), well-known popular pieces by World-renowned classics of 20th century, and unique folk medieval times music. Public is invited for the one of a kind artistic experience: an exhibition of the development of music making art from pre-historic times up to the most contemporary.
Los Angeles Cello Quartet & Glendale Philharmonic Quartet are the projects of the Positive Motions Foundation (501c(3) tax-exempt non-profit public corporation), initiated by Ruslan Biryukov, founder of the Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra. The ensembles were introduced first in May 2010 at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Fundraiser in Palos Verdes and LACC Composers Club and were enthusiastically received. Music making by these professional musicians immediately attracted attention of the public and the quartets was instantly placed into a category of the leading chamber music groups.
